Back by Popular Demand… “Jake’s Camp 2.0”!

Northern Wisconsin Knights U8 Winter Full-Ice Scrimmages

Jake’s Camp 2.0 returns this season to help players gain confidence playing full ice before Spring season and their transition to Squirt hockey. This is a great way for players to learn full-ice spacing, positioning, and gameplay in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Who is Eligible:

• White/Red level U8 players

• Birthdates between 1/1/2017 and 12/31/2019

• Open to skaters from all hockey associations

Format:

• On-ice warm-up

• Full-ice scrimmage

• Several coaches on the ice + referees for structure and flow

• Sign up per session — register only for the dates that fit your schedule

Schedule & Locations:

• 1–3 dates per month

• November through February

• Primarily at Antigo, with possible dates in Rhinelander and Tomahawk

• Leads directly into Northern Wisconsin Knights Spring Tryouts the first week of March

Cost:

• $10 per skater per session

• Goalies skate FREE

• Maximum of 30 skaters + 4 goalies per session

11/16: 4-5:30 pm @ Antigo
12/5: 6-7:30 pm @ Antigo
12/19: 6-7:30 pm @ Antigo
12/28: 4-5:30 pm @ Antigo
1/25: 3-4:30 pm @ Antigo
2/15: 3-4:30 pm @ Antigo

Please bring both a light and dark jersey.

We’re excited to give our U8 skaters a fun jump-start to full-ice hockey — and keep the momentum going all winter long!

Winter 25/26

Register for each session individually to allow flexibility during the busy winter hockey season. These sessions are designed to help U8 players gain experience and confidence on full ice as they prepare for the spring season and the transition to Squirts next year. Each session will include a fun warm-up followed by a full-ice scrimmage.

Most sessions will take place in Antigo, with the potential for added dates in Rhinelander and Tomahawk.
