Northwoods 3v3 Summer Showdown

First Annual Northwoods 3v3 Summer Showdown Labor Day Weekend at Rhinelander Ice Arena.

Friday, August 29th 2025 – Sunday, August 31th 2025

Get ready for fast-paced, high-skill hockey action in the heart of the Northwoods!

Divisions (Coed):

- Squirt (2015 birth years and younger)

- Peewee (2013 birth years and younger)

- Bantam (2011 birth years and younger)

🕒 Tentative Schedule

• Squirts → Friday (4–8 pm) & Saturday (1–6 pm)
• Planned to finish by Saturday late afternoon
• If registration grows to two Squirt divisions, Sunday morning games may be added
• Peewees → Saturday (8:30 am–1:30 pm) & Sunday (8:30 am–2:00 pm)
• Bantams → Saturday (8:30 am–1:30 pm) & Sunday (8:30 am–2:00 pm)

This is a tentative schedule based on current registration numbers. The final schedule and brackets will be released August 15th.

We’ve designed the weekend to maximize play time while leaving plenty of hours to enjoy Labor Day fun in the Northwoods.

Format & Rules:

- 8 teams per division (squirts may have two divisions)

- 3-game guarantee

- 4 skaters per team

- Goalies register individually

- Move-ups allowed, with teams placed according to their **oldest player’s birth year** for balanced competition 

Cost:

- $200 per team (4 skaters) 

- $50 per goalie
